Climate Justice Collective
The Climate Justice Collective formed out of the series of meetings following the the decision that the Camp for Climate Action would not organise in 2011. So far, people from Oxford, Bristol, London, Brighton, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Wales have got together to discuss how we can function as a national network to help support climate justice activism in the UK.
The Fuel Poverty Action campaign has already seen a die-in at EDF HQ, and a ‘Weekend of Winter Warm ups’ of action across the country, Occupying spaces from Town Halls to British Gas HQ!
Next, the Climate Justice Collective is reinvigorating the climate movement and taking on the ‘Big Six’ energy companies with a mass action in May! Come and join in the planning in Oxford on the 18th February!
